Laurance Lewis, Founder and Principal Member

Mr. Lewis has applied his past 16 years of Law, Telecommunications, Corporate Real Estate, Entrepreneurial deal structuring and negotiating experience to co-conceive Aggregate Networks.  Mr. Lewis is primarily responsible for Business Development, Strategic Alliances, Planning & Implementation and Legal Counsel.

Most recently, Mr. Lewis specialized in real estate related functions for primarily telecommunications and high-tech companies on a national and international basis, including AT&T Wireless, Honeywell, Inc., NationsBank, Executone Information Systems, McLeodUSA, Switch & Data Facilities Co., Intermec Corporation, Octel Communications Corporation, USN Communications and other clients of his firm.  In the course of representing such clients, he assists with strategic planning, performs location and building analyses, negotiates leases, purchase agreements and construction documents, and State and localincentives.  Mr. Lewis is also the primary point of contact for a strategic alliance with McLeodUSA, one of the largest competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs) in America.

Mr. Lewis received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School.  Mr. Lewis has been admitted to practice law before the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  He is an active member of the American and Chicago Bar Association, and has been a featured seminar speaker for the Real Property Section of the Chicago Bar Association.
